Manifesto

The score tells you what happened. Almost never why.

For years I looked for that "why" on my own, trusting my feelings. I never found it. Then I stopped guessing and started measuring.

I believe in a few things, but I believe in them deeply:

  • Opinions are fine at the range bar. Training decisions deserve data.
  • An archer is not their score: it is how they build the shot, how they hold together when fatigue sets in, how they change on competition day.
  • What you cannot observe and measure, you will rarely improve.
  • Science alone does not make anyone shoot better: it has to be translated, stripped down, brought back to the shooting line.
  • I am not a replacement for your coach. I work alongside them, with different tools.
  • Working seriously with a few people is worth more than rushing through many.

In the end, the point is not to shoot more. It is to understand exactly what is holding your shot back.
