Claim page revised, version 2

Only one study has compared the two, on 10 Malaysian traditional archers of national standard who shoot with the Mameluke technique: a hundred shots at 6 metres, half single and half rapid, recorded with motion capture. On the bow arm the joint angle curves overlap (correlations between 0.95 and 0.97), and in all six joints measured the cumulative error stays below the 0.2 threshold the authors use to call two movements equivalent. Where rapid shooting drifts from the single shot is the drawing arm: the shoulder keeps the same pattern (r = 0.99), while the elbow changes in shape (r = 0.70) and the wrist in timing, with the highest error in the set (0.17). The study appeared in a regional journal, analyses only the five best shots per archer and condition, and does not measure score, at a distance where accuracy is hardly tested.
