Claim page revised, version 2

There is only one direct check of the error, from 2026, and it measures little: eight photos of a single archer, one per phase of the shot, with the points found by MediaPipe compared with those marked by hand. The normalised error runs from 0.55 at nocking to 0.71 at anchor, and the authors judge it competitive. But the scale factor is described only through examples, and without it there is no way of telling whether 0.71 is small or large; the declared mean, 0.71, matches the highest value, while the mean of the values in the table is about 0.65; and the photos are still poses chosen to be clear, not a video of a shot with the string and hand close to the face. Before that, in 2025, the coordinates of the shoulders, elbows and wrists extracted from 60-frames-per-second video were enough to tell which of four archers was shooting, a sign that the tracking carries information, but that study does not measure the localisation error. That the model finds the joints can be seen; how well it does so, nobody has yet measured in a way that can be read, which is why the registry keeps the 2026 study as context.
