Claim page revised, version 2

There is a single Chinese study of thirty male archers split into three groups of ten by training performance, with a relaxation index computed from a consumer-grade single-channel electroencephalogram on a 0 to 100 scale. The best group has the highest mean index, 59.4 against 45.0 in the middle group and 52.7 in the group that most often misses the target (p < 0.01). The same pattern shows arrow by arrow: in the 51 arrows that scored ten the index is 58.2, in the 118 below the seven ring 45.4 (p < 0.05). The picture does not rise with performance, though, because the group that misses the target is more relaxed than the middle one, and the index comes from a proprietary algorithm whose calculation the article does not explain. It is a small cross-sectional comparison, in a journal with questionable editorial standards: the registry reports it but does not use it to decide the status, which remains not studied.
